 Classes Offered The following is a list of the classes we offer, the shoe requirement, and the dress code for each. The dress code is in red. Dance Classes  - Ballet: Consists of barre and center work. Ballet training is essential to a dancer's progression. It develops and strengthens muscles, as well as improves coordination and flexibility. Leotards, tights, and leather or canvas pink ballet slipper (Split-sole suggested for ages 7+), pink tights, ballet skirt is optional
- Jazz: A fusion of technique and style, with a focus on stage presence. Jazz consists of warm up, progressions across the floor and combinations. Any leotard, or tight fitting dancewear (tight tank top, cami, or tee, capri pants, booty shorts, etc.) tan tights(or color of skin) Tan, leather, jazz shoes ('slip on' is preferred)
- Pre-Dance (Mommy and Me): This class is for Mommies or Daddies along with their 15month-2 1/2 year old child. The parent is allowed in for support and to participate! Mommy and Me or Daddy and Me classes are made to introduce dance and movement to the child! Come join the fun!! Any leotard or dance dress, pink tights, pink or white ballet slippers. Parents can wear any comfortable clothing.
- Modern: Modern is an evolution from Classical Ballet. It breaks the rules of Classical Ballet and creates new ones of its own. Therefore, it has fewer restrictions, and can be seen as a fusion of many dance styles. Any dancewear is acceptable. Barefeet
- Liturgical is praise and worship. It is what KDA was birthed from! All dance moves are giving Glory to God! It may be from any style of dance but its all to Christian music. Any dancewear is acceptable. Barefeet, foot undeez, or foot paws
- Hip Hop: Come to this class to sweat, learn the latest dance moves, and for FUN!! We will explore West Coast, East Coast, and South influences. Hip Hop has grown so much and this class will explore all styles birthed from it. Any comfortable clothing! Express your creativity and personality! Sneakers. But don't wear sneakers/street shoes that you wore outside or daily.
- Stepping: Stepping is a form of percussive dance in which the body is used as an instrument to produce complex rhythms and sounds through spoken word, footsteps, and clapping. Athletic clothing (gym shorts, tees, sweat pants, etc.) Hard sole sneakers or tennis shoes.
- Tap: Tap is an exciting style where the dancers use their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beat. Any comfortable clothing. Black, flat, tap shoes (with the shoe strings or slip-ons).
- Lyrical/Contemporary: a fusion of dance including modern, ballet, and lyrical. This class takes the dancer through an exciting emotional journey in dance. Any dancewear, capris and booty shorts are acceptable. Barefeet, Foot undeez, or Foot paws
Fitness Classes - ZUMBA: Come join the party!! Zumba is the new aerobic/dance craze! You won't even feel like you're working out! It is a Latin-based effective workout system.
- Boxing Aerobics: A combo of Aerobics with Boxing Techniques! Great workout!!
